Codechecker data usage
This document explains the data we collect and how it's used.
What data do we store?
When you check your code using Codechecker, we store the following:
- Your Git project clone URL
- The differences between your code and the selected project
- Other metadata such as the time the check was performed
Additionally, we also use Google Analytics which stores anonymous data about how users interact with the tool.
How long do we store it for?
Your Git project URL and the details of your session are automatically cleared after 30 days.
What do we use the data for?
All data collected via the app is required to compare students' code to the course code.
Occasionally we may also use this data to debug issues in order to improve the user experience.
